Hey,

I have another Friday off of work and would like to spend it on a trail. I am still a novice with a stock jeep, just did Box Canyon and Martinez Cabin (didn't quite make it to the cabin, but came close) and enjoyed them very much. I am looking for something in the same difficulty range and want suggestions. I live in Mesa so something on the East Side would be best. I was thinking about Bulldog Canyon or Walnut Canyon based on the Wells book. Anybody else have that day off and want to do a run? Any suggestions on where to go?

Thanks!

Anybody?? I am leaning towards Bulldog Canyon, It may need to be a shorter run, and that one seems short and closer.

I haven't been to Butcher Jones, and don't know much about it. I am game.

I haven't done Bulldog or Walnut either, Bulldog seems like a pretty easy trail to follow. Anybody done them in the past and going out that day?

Sounds like Butcher Jones it is! Where is the best place to meet, and what time? For me, the earlier the better.
