I'm home! H2H was awsome! Chuck Boyd is so nice to wheel with! We made it thru the entire trail without any carnage or breakage :laugh2: It wasn't untill I got back to cottonwood that I snapped the other outer on the d30, so I broke 2 shafts today on the d30 and the d35 wasn't any trouble at all :pinch:
Chuck might have a line on some d44's for me :fashizzle: if not I'm going to pick up that 9" housing and 3rd member and build it! Think I'm going to replace my spares with some 30 spline Alloys for the front!

Dude, how do you snap an axle on Cottonwood? Where on Cottonwood? Did you have to perform another trail sugery?
Glad you're home though.

Broke it on the road where you come up out of the wash to bypass the far side of woody! Right there where the road is all bumpy rock! I guess a selectable locker might prevent this! Stopped and thru the short one in! About 15 minutes start to finish (all the tools were right on top)
Oh well..... fun days are always full of suprizes!

2 broken shafts sounds like a little carnage:)Didn't see you guys out there. There was a ton of people out there yesterday, but we started in box canyon then drove around. Hi Number 7, how goes it?

Allen, two axles, same day! Glad to hear you and Chuck made it through H2H without any problems. I had a great time, only minor damages, under carriage scars more than anything. Thanks to all for spotting, winching, towing, had a blast. George, let me know when you plan to run Ajax, I'd like to join you on that one. Dan (dirty rock?)
Well, getting error messages with pics, I'll have to try again later.

allen you ran through h2h did you have any troubles with the obstacles ???

H2h is not what it one was. I think if you can make UA you will be fine. Just make sure you have a winch it will be a lot easier if you get stuck. That trail has a lot of rocks stacked in the past years, and the rains have filled it in with sand. It used to be serious body damage if you tempted the big notch at the entrance.

Yeah, the burnt out cherokee is hard to get over :aagh: but as far as the actual trail goes I did good!
x2 on having a winch! Them falls are steep!
