Went Wheelin Pretty Hard Yesterday. At Least I Think I Did. But Now My Esp/bas Light Is On All The Time. I Did A Lot Of Torque Braking Up Rocks. Could It Be That It Just Needs A Code Cleared Or Did I Brake Something. Seems To Be Driving And Braking Normally.
Thanks

With the new JK, you should take it to the dealer for a Scan

is your steering wheel straight?
if its off a bit it can set the light.

Brian, Yes, first check the steering wheel and adjust the drag link if necessary. Also, if you smashed the cross-member just below and behind the front bumper it apparently causes all sorts of wonderful sensor problems. Finally, especially if it's an '07, check the steering column sleeve at the firewall--it should be exposed only about an inch, and sometimes they pop out. If it pops out and your ESP/BAS lite is already on, your probably SOL already, but you can undo the column at the joint, tap the sleeve back in and reinforce it with a clamp to keep it from sliding out again.
Happy trails! (Thanks, again--Got the tires just in time--3 tires blown this week already!)

Adjust The Drag Link Or Track Bar? Is The Stock One Adjustable? The Steering Wheel Has Been Straight And No Lights For 20,000 Miles And Several Trails. Now Its Noticeably Turned And The Light Is On. I'll Take It To The Dealer And Hope Its Covered. Thank Guys!

Yippee! An upgrade opportunity! :D
Yes, apparently "Trail Rated" excludes Moab use. But I hear Airpark is easy to work with on trail-used Jeeps! ;)
