Hello from Michigan!!!!!

Well, we have been tooling around Michigan for the past week now and we even went as far as picking up a real estate booklet for Harrison Township near the military base...

Went to Frankenmuth (German town), and saw all the family - the LEAST uptight group of people I've ever met...had a party with all the cousins last night while the grandmas all watched the kids at Ben's mom's house....I don't remember the last time I had so much fun (or drank so much!! :puke:) Weather here in Grand Blanc has been 50 at the highs :earmuffs:

Today we went to Houghton Lake - Ben's grandparents own the Coors family cabin on the lake up there. It was 32 degrees when we got there, but there were snow mobiles in one of the out buildings (we don't have out buildings in AZ so it is a new word for me!)....
So.....I not only got to see a snow mobile for the first time in my life, but I ALSO got to ride one....and tip one over...and get one stuck in a snow bank...or 7... :oops: It not like Jeepin!! :eek: And I decided that walking on ice is a dumb game because I damned near broke my back about 6 times trying not to fall and bust my arse!!! :wheelchair: (ben said I looked like a fish out of water)

Remington has had a blast....his second cousin is his age so they've had a blast together. Tomorrow we go over to his aunt and uncle's house for them to play and us to do the St Paddy's day celebration after the kids go to bed....:puke:

Amber- Looks like a fun trip. I learned to water ski on HOUGHTON LAKE summers of 59'-60' looks a little cold for that this weekend:smug: Great pics keep them comming. Have a safe trip back.

It IS cold! Mom keeps the thermostat at 60 degrees!!! :eek: We tried to get away with turning it up to 72 one night and she said it was hot....then we were driving around on a 50 degree day and she had the air conditioning on but there was still snow on the ground!

I'll post up some more tomorrow evening when we get back "home" to Mom's house tomorrow. Off to see grandma!

Hey guys - been w/o internet access for a day...went to an Irish pub in Romeo yesterday for lunch and crashed at Ben's aunt and uncle's house - It has been raining and 35 degrees out for the past 12 hours or so and it should freeze tonight, which means it will be like driving on glass at 4:00 am when we leave for the airport --- Ben says this is known as "Mi-chitty-gan" weather :o

Just pulled into the driveway about 10 minutes ago. Tiiiiiiieeerrrrrrd!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh the weather is over 50 degrees :smug: home sweet, sweltering hot, home! :D
