Nice pics, Brad. I didn't get too many, but here's a couple:

Most serious damage was John's.

That puddle in front of Firehole didn't play fair. Our two casualties both started on a fine line, but the wet right rear suddenly spun sideways and dropped. It happened almost instantly. Here's Paul's tattoo.

Firehole was washed out a couple feet deeper than last time I was there. Actually all the rocks seemed a bit taller than last time - fun. Must have been some water action in the wash.

I got a shot of Brad wedged in his "Mini-firehole" problem.

Last, I can't resist posting Paul's "sideways line" when he turtled and spun a quarter turn. :)

Thanks for coming out, all of you. I had a really fun day! I feel really lucky to have escaped the body damage that was going around, but on another day, who knows? Look forward to riding again with each of you.

Ouch that sucks guys, I feel your pain on that one. John, will you still be able to get new glass in there? It doesn't look like it bent that part too badly.

Paul (or was it Steve :)) What was your mallcrawler doing out there in the first place :)

I'm pretty sure that's NOT going to buff out! :D What 's a good brand of bondo? :D

SAWSALL- might be in the near future

in the meantime, plexiglass is your/my friend.

Ken, Brad and KK, thanks for the photos. Paul, thanks for the laughs. It was a good time today. I didn't get any photos today, I was too busy crying over the damage to my pristine, car-show ready rig.

Summer's around the corner...you may want to hold off on the plexi and take advantage of the natural cooling. :)

At least the puddle in front of the firehole looks a little smaller than when I was up there. It was like a swimming pool!:skull:

When I broke my drivers rear axle on Woodpecker, actually not far from the Firehole, John was there and counseled me to look on the "bright side", no one was hurt and we were able to fix it and drive out. The bright side of this window thing is that it will be easier to load and unload the XJ? :aagh:
You guys are reinforcing my decision to avoid the Firehole. Looks like a fun day.
