I just have to vent some.

I HATE HONING!

Now you may ask what that means. Well...it is the process of taking a cylinder bore and smoothing it out or making it bigger. They do it is engines and hydraulics and some other stuff. I have been honing out this cylinder for the past three days, hone oil smells nasty and now I have to hone this same cyl for a few more hours. Almost done....

Just had to vent!

Well Sh#t, you would think since you know that you would be the first to show some sympathy! I would show sympathy for you knowing you have to hone everyday. You know the pain. When I can make it through a day without honing that is normally a good day! This whole week though I have been at it for hours and hours. Been honing the whole day at work while still building cylinders!

Well for me I would rather hone than do cylinder head work....

But our hone is pretty easy to use... Sunnen CV616....

Ours is a Sunnen STH-6000L, farily simple and easy to use I guess. Just a pain though.
