Just lifted our YJ

Here it is with the RE 2 1/2" standard lift, and 32" x 11.5" BFG AT/KO's. We're really happy with the look. To the underside of the rocker trim panels it was 17.5" near the front and 19" near the rear tire. Now (until it settles) it's 22.25" near the front and 23.5 near the rear. I'm guessing it'll settle an inch or so in time.

It's a bit slower as expected - but not bad. So on the wish list is new gears. But that's for another day...

HI,
what kit did you use?
I was wondering how the ride is.. Mine is really stiff, it has a rough country (saposed to be a 4in. lift) I tried bouncing the jeep by jumping up and down on the bumper with the shocks off and it seems to bounce quite a bit.
So Im thinking lighter duty shocks will help....

It's the Rubicon Express 2 1/2" kit with their shocks. It rides sweet. Not stiff, and just a bit bouncy. However, I'm comparing it to the worn-out stock leafs and old Rancho shocks that were on it. So anything is an improvement.

It just looks so....NICE! Bumper is still on and straight. The plastic side steps and flares. Mine looked like that one day...long ago!

To Ricmitch - doubt it's the shocks, so don't want you to spend good money on somethig that won't help. Those RC lifts are somewhat notorious for being stiff. Drive it, WHEEL IT, and they'll soften up some.
