Just got an e-mail from my niece, funny that all the things we did with her while she was here, the highlight of her trip was the Jeeping:
Hey!

Seemed to take me ages to get back. Plane was on time, but the subway wasn't running properly.... Took me over 2 hours to get home from the airport!!!

Anyway, thanks for the fantastic weekend. I had a great time (especially jeeping). Wish I could've stayed longer, it's cold here :(
I'll send some of the pics once I get them on my computer.

xxx, Vessie

I will see if I can get Sharon to post up some pic's. Was great wheeling with you John, and was good to have Vince backing us up. White Tanks still has lots of trails that are not trashed, and we only saw a couple of Jeeps on the trails Friday.

Yep, that was the White Tanks, John came out with an open seat (thanks!) so we could show my niece a Good Time. Need to get those pictures up in Photobucket!

We made a run up to the Hyline Geocache area, went up Tie Rod, and backwards down Tax Collector.

Thanks for posting the pics, John and I'll post our pictures once we get back from the funeral :skull:

Were you the group that was running Tie Rod behind us on Friday? I was in a yellow TJ followed by a silver TJ. Talked to someone on the CB but wasn't sure who it was. We did Tie Rod, Tax Collector, Firebird, (thought about Ruler), Lower Scorpion, Upper Scorpion (stacked then unstacked  ) and finally Turtle Falls.

Yeah that was us. Would have liked to follow you through Firebird but we were time challenged. I don't think Vince would have been happy on that trail though. I thought you might be a member here. :)

That was us - we heard your voices on the CB a couple of times, but didn't connect the dots. We heard you going through Firebird right before we ran Tax Collector backwards.

Here are a couple of shots that I like, the first one is at Red's steak house in the Wigwam resort:

Ain't she a cutie? Not exactly Jeep related, just wanted you guys to salivate a little....:drool5:

Then we went dancing:

We were in Firebird a little longer than usual. We decided to check out the fork in the trail and went left to see what we could find. Get's fun back there but we didn't know where it came out (if at all) so turned around and went back out the regular way.

We will have to meet up in person and wheel together. I like 2.5s - 4.0s (with care/good spotting) as I am not keen on flopping the jeep on the 4.5s. I am also struggling with the disadvantages of a short wheel base on waterfalls like upper Scorpion!

I have been kind of laughing about the "hardcore" jeepers pushing the limits. All you have to do is pick a 3.0 to 3.5 and avoid hitting the lockers! :laugh2:

Lots of finesse and line spotting to learn on my part. :smartass2:

I just got my decals last night. I have to make a clean spot or two on the jeep and apply them! I will be much easier to recognize now amongst all the other yellow TJs sporting them!!! :laugh2:

I'm not sure about that second group of photos, but I think I could have some fun with my Liberty on the trail in the first.

First, I've never seen a pic with you without your hat.

Second, does your niece date married men?

I can tell you for a fact that he DOES take the hat off when he goes to bed :laugh2:

As for the second, we wouldn't know - had not seen her in 8 years. However, I can forward your inquiry to her Greek father, he'd be interested in the financial status of the person in question.
