but I have to finish building the hitch on my friend's camper, then we can tow his Jeep behind it, or my dad's and save on gas!...:fashizzle:
I checked all the ratings on the camper and looked at the frame, I think it will do fine. Calculated after removing old bumper and adding new metal this setup is about 70lbs and hoping not to add more than 300lbs tongue weight. Testing will tell though. I'm not too worried, this camper is really nose heavy. Hitch receiver goes all the way through the 1/4" 3.5"square tube, I added an extra crossmember and tomorrow I'm adding triangulation to stiffen it up and redo the spare tire carrier and painting it semigloss white.:drummer:
