Does anybody here use any of Clayton Offroads' products? I am looking at their T-case and tranny skid. I like the looks of it. Just browsing at their lifts they looked like good products also. Anybody have any of their stuff and how do you like it? TIA

If you go on the ROF, it's the end all, be all stuff...

I've been planning on running their stuff for the last couple of years but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Unless last minute I decide to fabricate my own arms (I'm 50/50 on this still) I'll probably give them a call and buy some junk a la carte. Their junk impresses me more than most that I've come across. It's unfortunate that there's a big world out there and many people think the only products available are those that are stocked by our local sponsors/shops. Just because the local shops stock something doesn't mean there's not something out there that serves your needs better. I'm always on a quest for such products which is why I'm still running the same old RE stuff because I tend to beat myself up trying to come up with a decision on what I want to buy. ;) ahhh, decisions, decisions.

Thanks for the posts. I have always heard alot about how good their stuff is too, but can't find anyone running it. The more i look at their la lifts the more i'm liking them. I just wish i knew someone with some real world experiance.

X2 Thats the site that seems to talk a lot about the Clayton stuff, lots of fans over there. I remember one guy over in New Mexico for the Chili Challenge had it on his rig, nice stuff seemed to work well once you get by the square arms. But best guess check the ROF lots of opinions there for sure, and almost all positive.

I too have just started looking at the Clayton kits, specifically the standard 4-link long arm, but haven't heard much from anyone on the west/west coast about them.

Does this mean that you are getting ready to wheel again?

Getting closer to being in the rocks again. I move into my new house on the 31st :) So that is one step closer. I still wheel. I just haven't been in the rocks. I am making my plans on what i want to build. Next is a tow vehicle and then it's on. :batman:

Travis, Rob (Etropic) is running their trans/engine skid combo. He can give you details about it.
