Which "brands" would you suggest that won't break my wallet?
How do I go about picking one up? Can I just buy both off the shelf, and just take it somewhere so they can put it in? Or is there more involved with this? If I mixed brands together, will there be any issues connecting?
Does this make sense? Hehe...I guess what I'm asking is how do I go about buying the correct sye and driveshaft for my ride? Besides the lift, everything else underneath is stock.
Thanks!

Precision Driveline on Osborn and 33rd Ave. Or Phx Rack and axle on 32nd st just north of Washington(by Christies Cabaret).
Tom Woods are great, but $$$.
Absolute Offroad should be able to get them for you, too.
Any one of the local shops should have Advance adapters SYE's on the shelf.. It's best to measure for your driveshaft once the SYE is installed. This will ensure you get the proper length driveshaft.

You would be wise to treat this purchase as an investment rather than something else you have to buy. Tom Woods does make a good shaft, I have run two of them.
That said I just shipped my latest shaft off to Jim, J.E. Reel over in Pomona, Ca.
He makes as good a DS as there is going. Call him at 909 629 9002, www.reeldriveline.com
Just remember, that DS is your lifeline to driving your Jeep off the trail.
Precision is a local company. On 2 occasions I have attempted to do business there only to be FLOORED by their pricing. I will assure you that Tom Woods and JE Reel are both cheaper. Precesion wanted $280 to rebuild my DS, I shipped it to Tom Woods and got it done for $60...you make the call.
Having said that if you want a Precision DS then contact Cole at 4Wheelers, www.4wheelers.com. They sell Precision cheaper than Precision does due to their volume buying.

How is rebuilding the ds done? What about its strength?
I'm assuming custom work such as Woods are considered heavy duty.
How do I know what the correct ds length should be?
While looking through Quadratec, I found this DS. Part No: 52301.904. It says it's only compatible with the Advance Ad sye Part No: 52237.99.
Is it easy enough to say that I shouldn't have any issues if I were to pick these up for installation? If they're made for each other, they should bolt right in, correct??
Is there anything else I may to know so I'm not re-ordering?? I would really like to install this on my own so I can learn, but is it recommended that I just take it to the pros?
I'm just trying to get as much info as I can so I know what I'm getting into!

i went with the aa slip yoke ,couldnt tell you what drive shaft maybe a spicer but not too sure it works and has new ujoints
Measure from center of the cap to center of the cap,or do as i did and measure flat to flat and give the meausrement to the drishaft place and tell them its from flat to flat they should be able to figure it out

DS install is straght forward, writeup/pics: http://www.savagesun4x4.com/jeep_installs/drive_shaft_install_rubicon.html
Rebuilt DS is as good or better than a new one.
Don't guess on DS length as too long or too short can make a great day go bad in a hurry.
Go here: http://www.4xshaft.com/index.html and click on "Tech Info". Go thru that and shoot me a a note and I will help you install and sort out pinion angles etc.
