The BBQ Site will be at:
Paseo Highlands Park
3435 W. Pinnacle Peak Road
35th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road
A 40-acre regional Park with two lighted softball fields, lighted soccer field, lighted basketball court,
lighted volleyball court, playgrounds, restrooms and picnic areas, grill, ramada, recreation center.
Park open from 5:30 a.m. – 11 p.m.



Ok... date HAS BEEN SET...

As for the time... I will get with Bear to see what time he is planning on
setting up our area.... he was going to plan a run before the BBQ... so that will get posted once I speak to him...


I need a head count ladies and gentlemen... if there is not going to be
atleast 25+ people there I am going to call this off. Sorry... just real busy
with, birthdays, anniversary, graduation, new job, new grandbaby coming...
and so on... and so forth...

Ok, here is a list of who's bring what according to the poll looks like we got most bases covered...we could use more burgers and hot dog/burger buns and chips...Rox is gonna bring a big pot of chili I guess its good at Hunters BBQ it was the first thing gone....I never got any anyway i digress..Amber is bringing this killer desert trifle...we could use more desert items...also we could use some potato salad, macaroni salad, baked beans, and maybe some disposable bowls...if anyone can think on anything else chime in....cya all there!

Also, please bring something to clean up after your best friends. :001_9898: A lot of youth sports teams use the fields at Paseo Highlands Park. I've held baseball practices there and can say from first hand experience that it is reall annoying when the kids have to dodge piles. :mad:

We have two Costco sirloin burger paks in the freezer waiting for Sunday. There is 18 patties in each pack - so that is 36 burgers we are bringing. If you brought two paks, there would be lots of burgers - I don't mind taking some home!

Will do Hardline, thanks for the response. That will give us 72, plus the dogs and mm mmm potato salad :) Val will make her spinach dip for those who like it.

I do have a hotdog cart if anyone thinks I should bring it. I can either steam or boil the dogs in the cart. Its available if needed.

Got the burgers, 2 - 18 packs of sirlon patties from Costso ,1 big bag of Doritos, 1 big bag of tortilla chips and the spinich dip. Do we have signs in the park for the bbq? I'm sure I will see all the jeeps, just not sure how big the park is.
