MYGIG 9.705 Beta

I have a update for mygig owners to update the software from 9.0 to 9.705 which updates some functions including the use of uconnect! You will still need a mic and I have the update on disk so swing by!

Jason. Do you know if this is the final release or is it still one of the test/buggy//unauthorized versions? I have been in contact with Harmon Becker and they indicated that “Posted release is very buggy” and that they were attempting the get final approval for 9.709 from Chrysler within the next week or so. Maybe they didn’t get 9.079 approved, did you get this version from Chrysler?

With the new software you only have to plug in the $20 microphone to get all of the voice features to work now, right (no additional hardware needed)? I’m looking forward to see how the Voice Commands work and if my phone will work through it. I still have to order a microphone.

The real time traffic highlights stop and go traffic and reroutes you arround and has more features than your software! I got this software off a Guy from Jkowners via the link above, I have put it on a CD for down if you wanna stop by!

Do you have the link to download the files Jason? I'm about ready for another update. The last update fixed some annoying bugs but didn't fix the bug where my Sirius presets sometimes unset themselves. Hopefully this one fixes that. :)

NOPE...you have to buy the whole uconnect kit!

In the last 2 days we have had many glitches with the 9.65 Mygig software which is in current production with jeeps.

1.GPS cordinates not showing

2. Bluetooth function worked then stopped

3.Volume froze and stopped working

The 9.705 Software seems to have fixed these mygig issues, and This day forward i will install on all jeeps that I sell.

Jason. I still have 9.561. I haven’t had any problems with the GPS, and I don’t have Bluetooth setup because I don’t have a mic yet. I did have the audio stop working twice, but it came back on the next day.

With 9.705 Beta I’ve read about: Sirus traffic display issues, GPS map is slightly off, and CDs restart from the beginning instead of starting from where you last left off listening. I can’t verify any of them since I don’t have it loaded.

I’m still going by HBs response about the Beta “Posted release is very buggy”, but on the 7th they said it should be out in a week, or 2 at the max. That would mean that they should have shipped it by yesterday. I’m going to give it a few more work days and if I don’t get it I’ll shoot them another email.

Good luck with 9.705 Beta. Keep us posed on how it turns out. Maybe they’ll never ship 9.709 and I’ll upgrade to 9.705 Beta too.

The next Beta I have seen is the 9.711 and thats a few months out! Our service dept won;t upgrade unless the mygig is having issues!

The software you have has worked out great in all the jeeps!

I found another Beta 9.712 which allows the use of the I phone and others...Of coarse the real release 9.713 will be released in April

The NON-official site will have 9.713 very soon!! I have nothing but good things to say about 9.705...even though a Beta its been problem free and has been a great for customer service Via instant fix!

I just got the 9.713 Software and 881 Gracenotes CDs in the mail today from HB. They installed OK - now to see what's different.

They will be simular to the 9.705 I first started installing, obviously fast menus and the use of the I Phone!!
