Blah, blah, blah, Joe! Kind of reminds me about that damned gas
station on the corner that just opened up last week. Would you
believe it's right across the street from three other gas stations in
the same area? I would choose to support the gas stations that have
been with me over the long haul, but since there are so many of them
that they keep prices down due to competition and the economic laws
of supply and demand, I now choose my gas by the best brand for the
price. I would like to buy from the Mom and Pop store, but they got
mowed down to build another Blockbuster Video. I can think of lots
of places where there aren't any gas stations, and it really pisses
me off.

Ok, here's my point. If the three existing businesses have a
good solid customer base *AND* deliver outstanding customer service,
they will not suffer. I will continue to buy from 4 Wheelers Supply,
and I will also check out the new guys. This is America, Joe. The
same one where you said just the other day that we had to tolerate
others. So tolerate the new guys. Don't spend any money there if
you do not want to. Putting a store in a brand new location that has
not been tested is ballsy, to say the least, but perhaps unwise if
you cannot sell your junk to anyone but the coyotes. Jumping in with
the other dogs is aggressive, and shows that you strive to thrive,
which is good economic sense. Rude, maybe, but I do not recall
learning that there were manners in business regarding competition.
Ethics, yes. Is their choice ethical? Smart business? Probably and
most definitely, to a point. Why? Because now they have made at
least one guy who buys tons of stuff for his rig an "enemy" and will
most likely never become a customer. At the same time they have
offered others a new place to ogle goods. Hope they have tile floors
and lots of mops, because I imagine a good deal of drool on their
floors! Gas stations, grocery stores, Walgreens, WalMart, the
freakin' Militia and Jesse Jackson. I love a parade...

I have a Detroit locker in my D-35 and have NEVER had a problem. Of course I have the Warn 5x5.5 full floater kit installled which Warn claims gives me equal or better strength than a Dana 44 (of course someone will say anything if they want to sell something) but unlike other "super" kits for the D-35 Warn puts their money where their mouth is and backs it up with a lifetime guarantee. I also have axle truss on the rear......I might also add that I am running 35's with 4.56 ratios, the Warn 5x5.5 kit on the front Dana 30 with a powertrax no slip locker. 4.0 motor 3" exhaust with flowmaster series 40's, no CATs (who needs the back pressure and we dont have emission inspections where I live) with both a Jet stage 1 chip and a Venom 400 power control module and they both work fine together but really suck up the premium gas.

So dont discount the D35 all together, it really isnt bad if you beef it up. But now as I look back, the money I have in my 35 I could have bought an 8.8 but then I would have wanted to beef that up with the Warn full floater kit too.

Well I have to disagree. Citi Group, like most other big financial conglomerates are interested in nothing more than making money, lots of money. They dont care how or at whose expense as long as they can do it efficiently and with as little cost as possible. They do not care about their employees or their compensation with the exception of those at the top. I can say this as I worked for them for several months and prior to that for another multi billion, muti national financial conglomerates that they bought out, or as they like to say, merged with. The only winner in a merger is the one who does the buying. Citi did not give a rats *** about the 10,000+ people that it just laid off within months of the merger. Those of us that were able to stick around a few months before we got the axe were told that "we were grossly overcompensated". Hint, hint, they didnt want to pay what we were worth. I my self was a VP National Sales manager whos production numbers exceeded the total production number of all of the 7 other National Sales managers combined. It didnt matter that I had directly trained over 300 other employees in one of our divisions and that division had the most successful track records in the company.........So while I respect your loyalty, there is always two sides of any story and the long and the short of it is that Citi cares only about money, they might preach that they are comitted to quality customer service but the proof shows otherwise......the various class action suits that Citi has been involved in and the settlements and or penalties that have been assessed for predatory lending, misleading and fraudulent loan practices, forcing credit insurance on customers and the list goes on..........I have no love lost for Citi and neither do the other 10,000 or more people that lost their jobs thanks to them or the many thousands more who had to take involuntary pay cuts or lose their jobs or the worst, someone who was months away from retirement that got laid off.......yes there were a few of those.......and before I forget, we had to sign "we will not sue for any reason" clauses in order to get our meager severence pay and were given only 2 weeks to think about it. I got an attorney to look it over and was treated like an outcast when they found out about it and then they pressured me even more to sign it .

And one more thing.......sure there is lots of good things written about Citi......and it is all from an investment perspective, any company that can make money for investors with have lots of good things written about them, you never hear about the poor little old ladies who lost their homes due to Citi's agressive and predatory lending practices.

My God people, what's going on here. cant a business get some props/love/credit for business expansion. who cares where it's at, who cares who owns it? 4 wheelers is the best place to shop and I say that from the bottom of my heart, but why hate the next guy for growth. this is America people, shop where you want, how you want, when you want. well, heres my 2 cents (not that it really matters to a lot of you), I don't care who you are or what kind of business you run or open, I can only say "congratulations" and wish the best of luck. Damn, this place isn't even opened yet and it's already being judged and downed for it's soon to be home in mesa.

Doesn't ORU have a shop on the West side? Troy has one, Toy box offroad, AMC
4x4 (for good used parts), I am sure there are more.

Don't worry, I am sure with the Coyotes and the Cardinals moving to Glendale
you guys will get another 4x4 shop :P.
