I had a great time out there today. It was a lot of fun wheeling with some new people. Thanks to all of the Fj guys for coming out there. You guys were fun to watch and there wasn't a bad attitude in the bunch. This trail kicked my *** the last time I ran it. It was nice to even the score a bit. Other than falling in the V notch AGAIN(thanks for the spot Lance) I fared much better this time. Here's some pics:

Man oh Man what a day! I had lots of fun wheeling with you all today. This was my first hardcore trail and it was a blast! I think I got the bug. Can you say Dana 44?:drummer:

Even though I took most of the bypasses the Dana 35 held up pretty good.

I'm downloading a bunch of cool videos so stay tuned. :fashizzle:

Nice pics. Never ran it with that much water.

The water certainly made it interesting. I think it was harder on the FJ's than the Jeeps. A lot of spots that they should have been able to get over just draggin some skid plate were pretty challenging. If they had been able to get more traction they could've done better IMHO. I also think that if there was more aftermarket armor available for them that would help a lot. I may bang my way thru a lot of stuff, but I'm usually just banging on skid. And a couple of them took some body damage. :aagh:

I had a great time. I really appreciate everyone coming out and helping with spotting/unstucking duties. Great bunch of people. Very nice to meet you.

As soon as my wife uploads the pics, I'll link them here.

Thanks again and I can't wait to get together for another run. I really appreciate everyone's super attitudes and help.

Oh, and thanks also for the patience while I changed out my broken axle.

Thank you guys for wheeling with us FJ's. You all are a great bunch of guys and would wheel with you all any time. Maybe next time when I don't have to head back to SoCal after wheeling I'll push it a little harder. :)

All the jeeps and toy pickup were looking good. :fashizzle:

Yeah it's a lot filled in. All of the FJ's did make it down it. Shortly after that they turned back and we kept going. We caught them on the way back out. Apparently it took them quite a while to get back up that spot.:aagh:

Ya, it filled in at least 4 feet at the tallest part of the ledge (the far left if you were coming down). Sorta sucks.....dropping off that when it was 6' tall was a blast; scary the first time off, but just pure fun after that. I'm sure future rains will scrape all the sand back out eventually.
