GREAT PICS! I had a great time - perfect weather, good company and more vegitation than I've ever seen in the Tanks.
I made the tire carrier myself, while I was impatiently waiting for my lift to be installed. It is 3/16th plate steel and metal 2x4's and 1x1's with a hitch reciever welded into the middle.

The ledge is always prone to stacking, but the upper part of that trail is a blast. I lead a couple of buggies up there last year when they came down from Washington, only needed a strap once.

Most all of the trails in the White Tanks are accessed from Watson road. Exit I-10 on Watson and head North. Plenty of fun stuff in that area, just be careful, there are a lot of ATV's using the same area and they loose when they encounter a Jeep.

When you ask a question like this on this forum, you usually get an answer like "head down the sandy wash and turn right at the big rock" The best way to find the location for the "rated trails" is to ask for someone who knows the area (like me) and let them show you. Or you could wait for someone to post up a run, and join that group. Almost every weekend someone is running something in there, I think somebody posted one up for this morning, but I couldn't make it since I'm leaving for Moab tomorrow.
