I have never been to the Coves, so if anyone from Ahwatukee is
going maybe we could drive out together. I figured that we could
meet at 7:15 at the Gold's Gym parking lot at Elliott and 51st
Street. Anyone?

Mud, hmmm let's see if I can explain that. Take a water soluible earth
substance and add water to it. Mix it together real well and depending on
the properties of the earthen substance, it will determine the friction
co-efficent that you will encounter. As you probably already know sand
types of soil are not really good at making mud. All kidding aside, at this
point I wish it would stop raining here for a while. We need the rain but I

Subject: Broken Bar Pin Update!
Well folks I appreciate ALL the advice from everyone. Turns out that
my shocks are too short and the bar pin broke when it was up on the
lift at Goodyear. I am a frequent rotator and I believe this to be
the cause of my problems. I'm not exactly sure how short the shocks
are but today when I was installing bump stop extenders I jacked up
the axel took off the tire and lowered the axel almost to the ground
on the passenger side. I then high lifted the body on the same side
and ended up lifing the axel from the jack stand before the spring
started to come away from it's perch. I'm glad the shock prevents the
spring from popping out BUT I wonder.... What is supposed to stop the
downward travel? On that side there isn't much... well it's bar pin
eliminators to get a little more out of the shock as I won't be
purchasing new shocks until these wear out. Thanks again for all the
advice though.
Mike H. 02 TJ
P.S. You won't believe what I used for bump stop extendors. They
ended up working perfectly too. They are Elavator parts found on the
elavator mechanics cart. Made from Steele and are very strong. Pre
drilled and exactly the same size.. This was an easy mod..

Well, my brotha, if you spend 2000 dollars for a paint job then dude your getting ripped. I've been painting for 14years and I never quoted a job of this nature (which by chance is a quick fix) so much money. I worked for body shops in the past, and the quote for $1500 will cover a full paint job and minor body repair. hell, if you want to spend $1500 on repairs, just pass it over here and I'll have you ready for the world of wheels. I do have to agree with Joe West on this though. If you did the damage, then let that be a lesson and get the damage fixed regardless of the cost, even if the cost is BS. just my added 2 cents...
