What a beautiful day to take a leisurely drive through the park with some great people. Chuck, Kevin, Bill, Doug, Jason, Ted, and I met at 9am and then headed out. Several hit the "entrance" to UW, no damage at windshield rock and then on to Firehole. The puddle of water at the base of Firehole was too much for everyone except Chuck who blasted up and over. The water just made the rock too slick for the rest of us. Onward through the various obstacles with no major malfunctions. A short stop for lunch and then we finished the trail. We jumped down into Lower Ajax on the way out. The first problems of the day, Kevin lost the valve stem from the tire (some rock got a souvenier) and then John got wedged in a V. Got the tire swapped and hooked a line to pull John out and called it a day.
Thanks guys.
Here's a few shots. Check out my webshots the for rest.

John,
Thanks for being our fearless leader again, it is always a pleasure to wheel with a great bunch of guys that really care about our trails and the environment we all share. BTW, that V-notch you were in......well in case you didn't know, that was an axle wanting to snap, IMHO.
Kevin,
Good to meet & wheel with you. Thanks for the photos, and I am very sorry we let you find that scraping rock wall, I think it may buff-out.
Doug,
Good to see you again....wow... 360 photos, and still had time to wheel the ZJ, oh, thats right, you had some help from a good friend.
Jason,
Hope you found that strange noise in the drive train? Good to wheel with you again.
Bill,
As always, thanks for your spotting skills and the great humor & attitude on and off the trail.
Ted,
Good to meet and wheel with you. I have one question to ask, do you work?
It seems that someone asked that question on our lunch break. Isn't it great wheeling on week days?

Chuck it was great meeting you too. Don't sweat the rock wall. It's not gonna buff out, but I was bound to leave some orange paint somewhere eventually. Especially the way I drive.:aagh:

its possible to get you thru it would depend on your ASIT. post up you are looking to run it and ask for a leader. i would recomend a day run first. then try it at night:D
