Went out to 4 Peaks on Sunday here are some pics I took...Enjoy

Nice pics!!! Damn thats a lot of snow still. Did you happen to see if there was still a pile of burnt trash sitting out there...? I've been having a hard time getting the FS to go and clean it up.

YES! the pile is there there is also some full trash bag sitting at several locations.....I was wondering if this was from the clean up..

There were no trash bags left, but I can't believe the FS didn't clean up the pile yet.... Thank you for the heads up. :aagh:

I think once the snow has melted up top a bit, I'll be organizing a "In search of El Oso Mine" trip. It's located in the upper elevation, and has another mine a short ways away by the name of Jolene Mine, whose trail is supposed to be a little fun.

Google "El Oso Mine" to see a trip report by a group who've run that route before. It might give you some idea of what I have in mind.
