My wife manages a friend's office. She was a realtor part time but you know how that business goes. She works 12 hours per week. Mon-Thurs, 3 hours per day. We also have a nanny with the kids for 7 hours per day. I work about 50 hours per week.
Up until my the last 3 months where I've been very very busy with my newest business venture I did almost all the cooking. I'd come home, and cook. She did the vast majority of the cleaning and about 75% of the laundry. I'd do laundry on occasion and typically I'd iron my own clothes.
Anyway, because of all this women's lib stuff she feels that she's in the same boat. She would go around telling people how I don't do 50% of the crap around the house. That usually pissed me off as I can see if a woman works fulltime and a man work fulltime then they should each do 50% of the other stuff. But if a woman works 3 hours per day and a man works 10 hours per day I personally believe the man (in this case) shouldn't have to do 50% of the domestic duties. This has nothing to do with money even...it has to do with how much free time is available to each during a day...

This article was written by a woman... My wife already e-mailed this to me. I think it's a bunch of female propaganda. I'm not buying it.

I don't know. I've received similar compliments from my wife's friends. In fact her best friend has told me on more than one occasion, "how come you're always cooking when I call to talk to Sherri?". When single I've used the opportunity to cook for chicks on one of the first dates with very good success. :asshole:

I can give you cooking. I do the cooking at my house for the most part because I like it. Also, guys are better at it than women. Hell a woman who can cook is more attractive to me as well. I guess one that cleans is too.
I just think this is propaganda to get more guys to do more chores.

Hmmm... Never had a woman jump on me because I was doing dishes. I'm gonna have to keep my opinion on what women really want to myself, but I can say that article is a bunch of BS.
Try it! Wash something, see if your woman gets all hot and bothered. Not gonna happen.

Hmmm, I don't know if I'd stare lu****lly at a man doing dishes, but a few positive thoughts would be going through my mind about him.

there is a medical article showing that women who did at least 7 hours of housework a week were MUCH less prone to develop cancer.
I work 40 hours a week plus drill weekend.....but I still feel (ladies don't flame me) that laundry, cleaning the bathrooms, mopping the floors, dishes and dusting is a woman's job. Let the men do the yardwork and the trash...Its more of a turn on to feel appreciated than it is to have to clean up behind my husband's half azz cleaning! :D
