Greetings!
I'm looking for the bracket that links the w/w motor to the wiper brackets, if anybody has a parts jeep that they wouldn't mind harvesting for me.
It should have the female end of a ball socket on one end and a hole (3/16"dia??) on the other end, and would be roughly 10" on center.
I haven't searched the local boneyards yet, as they're buried under snow for the most part, and I'm sure this is a part they'd tell me to go out back and look for.
I haven't even looked into the cost of these yet, but make me an offer and I'll likely take you up on it.
As long as you're there if you want to sell me the wipers themselves, I'd probably buy those, too. A friend said he has 2-3 pair of jeep wipers in his garage, but he's about 25 miles away, and I've seen his garage - I'd rather tunnel through the snow first. At least the snow is clean and will melt off.
I bought this jeep with a new windshield and frame, and thought it was just missing the wipers - until I took the dashpad off. At first I thought I was missing the motor too, but I found that under the back seat, and it seems to work pretty well! Woohoo!
