Sorry for the tech question but if i'm running a rubi 44 with alloys and ctms where does this put the weakest link in the front end? The r&p or shafts? :)

27 spline stub shaft.

unless you upgraded to 30 spline outers and unit bearings...............

Depending on what gear ratio you are running(probably 4.88s), I would say the unit bearing is probably your weak link if you have upgraded. If not, then the outer stub shaft is.

will be running 5.13's, on the fence with the 30 spline outers... when the unit bearing goes does it damage other components or is it just a swap it out and go on your way type of deal?

It all depends on how, when & where it goes.

But if you break a stub shaft and drive on the unit bearing without it, it can separate and take your wheel with it.

This would make you a 3 legged dog.
