Actually, the statistics indicate that there are significantly
more runs in the 2.0-3.0 range than there are in the 3.5+ range.
I do find this surprising, though. I know the hardcore folks
are the most vocal in the club.

The problem with statistics....
Many of the 2.0 "runs" you see in the statistics include Technical
Workshops, Lunch, Land Use Meetings, Coves Cleanup, etc. and not
actual trips. In fact, there is only one 2.0 trip scheduled in the
future, Table Mesa.

4.56:1 with AtlasII 4.3:1 transfer case and 5 speed manual. I like this setup, but if you don't have a 4:1 transfer case, you may want to go with 4.88:1 gears. I don't however, have an automatic so I can't speak for it's performance. I can tell you my rig is a slow DOG on the road (can't wait to put that V-10 in )

I got my 4.88s (Dana 30 and Ford 8.8) from 4 Wheelers' Supply.
They gave me a really good deal on both sets of r&ps and overhaul

Subject: HELP please, Questions on Xfer case lower, speedo gear and ebrake cable
Ok got some quick questions, I hope someone has some quick answers and can help ,me out here :-)
This is on a 92 YJ, SOA 10 1/2 total suspension lift, 4.0 with NV231 and AX15 5 speed.....4.56 gearing, 35" tires.
I am trying to finish this project up before the 1st snow.
I installed my SYE and now I need to decide if I still want to use the Xfer case lowering kit or not. Do I have to with the SYE and a CV driveshaft ? When using a lowered case it seems as if the back lowers and the front lifts, am I seeing things or is this true.
What speedo gear has anyone else been using so the speedo is correct with my particular tires and gears ? Somewhere I think I saw a chart, my current gear is yellow and I know it is WAY off.
With the SOA, the drivers side ebrake cable from the wheel to the adjuster is way too short, I thought about using a long cable from the passenger side but that is going to be way too long........any replacements that any of you have used that are maybe 10" longer than the stock YJ cable ?
Many thanks for your help

I think that in order to do this mod. you have to drill out the steering
knuckle and weld in a sleeve. Also the swaybar mounting bracket will need to
be "modified".
