Yup, exhaust damage is possible, but not fuel line damage as far as i
can see.

Subject: BLM Looking for Input Via E-mail.

Here is a notice that was posted at a site I visit for my Quads.
Thought everyone here might be interested. It's easy and it might
just make a difference.:

The BLM has finished the meetings for the Bradshaw-Harguahala
Planning Area. Roughly this covers I-10 on the south, I-17 on the
east, About Prescott on the north and about 50 miles west of
Wickenburg as the west border. This includes the Crown King route,
Bumble Bee Area, Table Mesa Road, North of Lake Pleasant, West of
Lake Pleasant and many more miles and miles of trails we have not
been on YET. The public forum meetings have been completed. However,
we can email or send letters to the BLM until November 15th. So lets
do it today, don't wait until the last minute please!

These are the four questions asked on the questionnaire:

1. What do you value about these lands and way?
2. What activities or uses on these public lands are important to you
and why?
3. How would you like to see the scientific, traditional,
recreational, cultural, and natural resources of this area managed?
4. Is there anything else you want to tell us?

Please include the following:
Name, Address, and Email Address.

Copy this to the subject line: Bradshaw-Harguahala Planning Worksheet

Yes/No Add my name to the mailing list
Yes/No Withhold my name and address from public review.

Send your answers to: az_afnm_bradshaw@b...

For more information visit:

http://www.az.blm.gov/fr_lup.htm

For a pdf of the worksheet go to:

http://www.az.blm.gov/lup/aguafria/planning_worksheets.pdf

These same 4 questions are being asked about the Agua Fria National
Monument. You can send your answers to the same address above
regarding them. Copy "Agua Fria National Monument Planning Worksheet"
to the subject of the email.

Helpful hint.... the answers for both could be the same....

Please, take a few minutes and get your comments in TODAY!!

Thanks,
Our OHV areas depend on it!!

I agree with Stu. Make them show you the old parts (they should not
have tossed them yet unless you said they could) and have them then
show you what part of the suspension caused the problem. If they say
they already tossed the part then demand to talk to the service
supervisor because they no longer have any proof that something was
wrong and needed to be changed, therefore, ripping you off. Don't give
up.

Subject: D30 Steering Arm Needed

So I noticed I was having a braking problem. Went to make sure
nothing was broken etc, and noticed that one of the bolts that
attaches the caliper to the steering arm has about 1/2" away from
falling out. I thought that was odd, so I went to tighten up and it
wouldn't tighten. Turns out the threads on the knuckle are stripped,
and not engaging with the threads on the bolt. Trying a new bolt
didn't help any. I don't believe I can safely retap it, and don't
want to use a helicoil since it is part of the braking system.

So now I'm looking for a new driverside arm, can anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance.

Dan,

I have some D44 knuckles. I don't think they would be that easy to
use for your application, but let me know.

I think at AutoZone in the "Help" section they sale over sized bolts
for these.

Welcome to the group, Justin! With a last name like that, you must be one heck of a great Jeeper!

Which part of the west side do you call home? What are you driving?

Hey guys, this is my first time ever posting here. I would like to give a wave to the gentleman in the white TJ I saw this evening. It was about 5 o'clock and at the intersection of Camelback Rd. and Dysart rd. heading east. I would also like to compliment you on your Jeep. Sure does look nice!

Seem to have developed a problem. When starting, the engine(?) makes
some noise not unlike a loose starter. When running in park/neutral
there is an occasional rumbling noise more heard in the interior than
outside. In drive/accelerating the noise increases in volume and
repatition. The noise decreases when in reverse(?) or coasting. My
suspitions are the starter, torque converter or tranny. It is still
under warrenty ( I hope with no arguement) so that should cover any
tranny repair/replacement.

Yup. I have a right and left knuckle from a 97 XJ. They should be the
same as the TJ ones. I was asking $50 for the pair. Then you'll have a
spare for the other side.
