Lift kit

I just got my 88 xj and want to do my first mod, a lift kit. I want a 3" lift so I can put on 31x10.50x15 tires on. I want a good a road ride, that will be most of my driving. I plan to take my kids out with me all the time so I wont be doing anything to hard ( have to make it home). I dont have to much money left after the purcase of the jeep. I saw a rough counrty 3", skyjacker 3.5", and a rustys 3". Are any of these good for what i want? Are ther any others?

Look at Rock Krawler and Rubicon Express. Rusty's is a pretty good kit, but I personally would stay away from Rough Country and Skyjacker. Lots of local support here, Absolute Offroad for Rock Krawler, and 4 Wheelers Supply for Rubicon Express. Shop locally though, the sponsors here can usually meet or beat internet stuff.

Rubicon Express 3.5" lift kit. I could have gone cheaper, but am glad I didn't. I got the basic kit, full rear leaf springs, adjustable track bar, and monotube shocks. It's sitting on 31x15.50 tires.
