Actually, someone needs to put this in the "Community Service" subforum. It will not get buried nearly as fast as in General or Pic's.

Great job guys, tried to talk the wife into attending but she had a prior commitmant for me.

Thanks !

Welcome to the AZVJC. Those are some great pictures as well. I was hoping you guys would post some up.

You guys did a great job out there. I don't wheel in those kind of areas because the squid population is way too high for me. The mess from the shooters is obscene. I'm embarrassed to be a shooter when I see that kind of crap. The sad thing about it is...in a month, you won't even be able to tell it was cleaned up.
We need enforcement in these areas more than anything...but gates are the cheaper option and the most viable solution in the eyes of the legislators, unfortunately.

Thank you for your efforts nonetheless.

It was a great weekend!!
A lot of people showed up and they were ready to work!!!

For everyone that is "thinking" about making a clean-up, I strongly suggest you do because the feeling of pride you walk away with after seeing these areas transform is incredible!!

I had my little trash trailer so I started out running up and down the road hauling trash to the dumpster/pile. After #8 was nearing completion, someone mentioned another shooting spot just down the road and this is where most of my pics are from.

ok, to the pictures:

Ask him what was in his left hand that he is hiding!!!!!!!

John made a huge showing at this event! There wee people talking about the "sheriff" and his cool rig, up and down Fourpeaks road!! Any problems and He was the first one to head out there to "charm" the trouble makers into seeing things the way they should be!! :smug:

All in all it was a great day to be giving back to our sport!!!

In closing I would just like to say to the Jack@$$ on the yellow dirt bike that decided to roost my Jeep as he went by and breaking my windshield.... Karma is after you!!!

I'm finally getting around to posting my pics. I had a really good time at the cleanup. It was well organized and everyone was very enthusiastic about cleaning up. I moved around a bit during the event and ended up leaving before the raffle.

I started out around site 4. This pic was taken after the major trash was cleaned up and removed.

I then moved down to site 8 where everyone was already hard at work.

I posted mine in the other thread so you may have seen them but I should have posted here, so here they are!!!

Well, it was a long day but an awesome one. The turn out for this event was incredible to say the least. Tim from AZTTORA did a fantastic job orgizing this event and the turn out of people and rigs was nothing short of amazing. There were 215 people signed in on the roster and there were lots more that did not sign, prolly 250 or better total and a guess at better than 100 rigs. There was 10 people from KreationKrawlers alone!!!

Major thanks also to the MCSO. The Sherriff's office was there in force and we had Hunter's MCSO buggy out to protect and serve again, and protect he did.....the shooters didn't listen to us but they had no backtalk when Hunter rolled up in the Buggy!!!! That was awesome man, major thanks to you and the MCSO as a whole!!!

There were a lot of groups sponsoring different things and I will forget some so I am not going into the list at all, Tim can do that if he wants!!! But
MAJOR thanks to all of them for their support.

Again, big thanks to AZTTORA for this event and mostly thank you to Tim for all his work and dedication to this effort!!!! E'nuf mushy, now the pics!!!!

It all started with the delay on the highway!!!

You said it. The only stuff we leave is what will biodegrade somewhat quickly, like charcoal briquettes, clay pigeons, or misc. fruit.

John is a rockstar now. He is all over the internet. Sadly the pile of trash was set on fire later that night. I just talked to the FS and the poor guy who was out there helping is currently working on loading the smoldering trash into a dumpster... These tools and yellow dirt bike guy. what do ya say... :skull:

Wow, thanks Shawn. Charm? Sure, that will work!
