Well if our trying to color match our factory color, take your paint code or VIN number to Space Age, Specialty Paint, Glendale Paint, etc and they can make up "rattle" can's of your OEM color so you can do it yourself...
JMHO...

Just be ready for the price. I went there for some yellow paint to paint my co2 tank last year and I almost fell off the stool they had at the counter when they told me how much a pint of custom paint cost. :pinch:

if you got the $ to do a pro paint job then forget paint and powdercoat it
Powdercoat is available in many colors and much more durable then any paint
Hey whats wrong rattle can jobs, it all in the prep work- I can make a can paint job on tubing look as good as out of a gun (good prep/primer/wetsand or clear coat) still under $50
spray paint is your best choice easy to touch up when you roll or hit it against things, and available everywere and will cost $20, unless you really want to pay someone $500 or more to paint it, go for it, but sounds really foolish to pay so much for something that is 90% covered by a top. i guess some people just like there junk to LOOK pretty
If you want color matching spray paint get a sample and take it to Dunn Edwards, they will mix up custom spray cans i think they are like $15 each should take about two cans and a third for always important touch ups

If he were to get it Powdercoated he's have to remove the cage... I'd imagine if he's not one to paint his cage himself he's probably unlikely to want to remove it. :)

I thought about that, but how do you get a good "pro paint job" without removing cage? I guess it could be done but with diminishing returns
or, go Cro mo and leave it bare!
Redrubi, what color do you want? whats your goal?
