As far as I know a club has 2 delegates (ie. 2 votes) regardless of size.
I have just seen a lot of misinformation flying around about the whole organizational structure of clubs and the ASA. As a general rule 10% of the population will be active in any group; which is pretty much what I see on this group as well.
No harm, no foul, just educating...

Scram,
I believe Joe West stole all of the girlie clothes from Bill's Barbie
collection to put on his GI Joe action figures. You know, its part of
the politically correct don't ask don't tell policy. Those are actually
Barbie's in space suits. I think it has something to do with Bill
wanting to "Go around the world" with Barbie or something so he put them
in some moonsuits. They both seem happy so I don't mention it.

Subject: HELP! Need info regarding TJ Manifold Warranty
Hey Everyone,
I need some help on behalf of a person on another Jeep BBS. She's up in Colorado and just purchased a used TJ, '98 I believe, with the 4.0L. She noticed the exhaust manifold is cracked and is being quoted nearly $1200 for replacement/install. The work is being quoted by a local 4x4 shop. Apparently (according to the 4x4 shop) the manifold has already repaired (welded) once before.
I won't go into some of the other issues with prices she's being quoted from this shop, but I at least thought I could help gather some info regarding Dealer replacement/repair of the manifold.
Can I get a few testimonials from some of you individuals who have had the repair done after 3/36 warranty expiration? Or maybe a summary of what she should tell the dealer in order to get this fixed? Is it really covered under the 7yr emissions system warranty? Not to single you out again, but Joe West, haven't you collected some info on this exact subject in the past?
Again, I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!

Speaking of girlie... girlie is using an automatic transmission in a
Jeep because you aren't talented enough to shift and drive difficult
trails without bending sheetmetal on your Jeep.

PS.. on the serious side; how is the install coming along Scott?
Scram,
I believe Joe West stole all of the girlie clothes from Bill's Barbie
collection to put on his GI Joe action figures. You know, its part of
the politically correct don't ask don't tell policy. Those are actually
Barbie's in space suits. I think it has something to do with Bill
wanting to "Go around the world" with Barbie or something so he put them
in some moonsuits. They both seem happy so I don't mention it.

Hi Gang,
I just called Dobson High School about 12 times and tried almost every
single contact option they had... not a single person in the
administrative offices are answering their phones so something clearly
is going on.
I would recommend that people NOT show up for this event as it may just
add to the confusion. I will continue to call and if I get an answer, I
will notify everyone. If others would like to help in calling, their
phone number is:
(480) 972-3000
Kind Regards,
Joe West

That isn't very nice Joe. I run a auto, of course I run big tires
too. Are they girly? I guess so, because I hate getting out and
stacking rocks. I might break a nail.

I fully support leash laws for birds... damn things crap on my Jeep and
in my yard (and they don't even bury it) They prance around outside my
house windows driving my cats crazy and causing them to tear up the
window sills. I saw a kid try to pick up a bird the other day and the
bird bit the hell out of the kid causing a severe infection, gangrene,
and the kid died a week later.
I'm currently trying to train my neighborhood birds to stay out of my
yard... but I'm not having much success. They are vicious foul and
dirty animals and should be eradicated from the face of the earth.
Vote yes on proposition 673... leash laws for birds.

I fully support enacting leash laws for cats just as we have for
dogs. I know dogs can to damage and some are affraid of attacks,
but cats crapping in my yard, digging up my yard to bury their crap,
getting on my vehicles, driving my dog nuts so she tears up the
window cills in the house causes damage too. I have also seen kids
try to pick up or pet a cat running loose and get a pretty severe
scratch.
Then again I have managed to train our neighborhood cats to stay out
of my yard...<evil grin>.

I think we need some sort of leash law for computer keyboards.
You know what I'm talking about: type something dumb, and before it
gets sent, a sharp tug at a collar around your neck pulls you out of
reach of your mouse and keyboard, and the message gets deleted...

Gee, there wouldn't be too many posts to sort through. And of course
there wouldn't be any pearls of wisdom posted by Lachlan anymore. I
don't know where he comes up with some of the stuff he posts but I
usually enjoy reading them.
