Jake,

Somewhere in the east valley there is a big hole in the ground with a little satellite antenna poking out of the brush. Rumor has it that is where James is.

You put a post on here the other day wondering where I am and where your motor mounts are? I replied to your personal e-mail over the weekend and have not gotten a response. I figured I'd try you on here since you've posted quite a bit lately.

"I'm taking my toys and going home." Would have been a more direct

And I say to you:

Good, take your toys and your close minded "I won't even talk to the

only serve to hurt the sport in the end.

Hmmm, all I'm seeing here is allot of words that may have to be eaten later.
Just as you cautioned Neal, I'll caution you.
None of us but perhaps Len know her.
Personally, I have a neutral stance on this, with hopes for the best outcome possible.
Invite her, and her friends, always put the best foot forward, you can't go wrong.
Just remember, there are 2 sides to every story, and it is possible she may report back to the Sierra Club she's converted the entire AZVJC and got all of you hugging trees like never before.
You and I know it not to be true, but then, we're on this side of the story.....

There's nothing wrong with Neal's view, just because it doesn't agree with yours. If he doesn't want to participate, how's that hurt you? If you ask me, it doesn't and at least in the immediate future it helps you.
I'd have to say I disagree with you on the point that he's just like the extremists from SC.
They wouldn't give you the benefit of knowing where they stand, they'd just show up and crash your little party.

Scott,

That's about the size of it too.
Every since getting home from the Jamboree I have been dodging flack
from the little, itty bitty scratches I put in my fender flares. LOL

When I get the mud washed off I tried to hide the scratches with I
might post some pictures. ROFLMAO

Anyone know of a good paint guy, East side. The flares, need to be
stripped and repainted, no pounding or bondo. I can remove them. GOD,
I can't wait to get the CJ finished, none of this BS.

Hello All,

Jason LaLiberty is leading a Raw Deal (Lower) trail run on Saturday, October 26, 2002.

When: 8:00am
Where: I-17 and Carefree Highway
Rating: 3.5+
Length: 4-6 Hours
CB Channel: 4

Hi there,

I would like to run both lower and upper. Also maybe going on to Table Mesa Rd. depending on timing.

I have been on this trail only once. Would like someone else to lead if they are interested. I do have directions on how to get there. Trail is easy to follow once you get to the trailhead.

Thanks,

Jason

Raw Deal is a short trail (1.2 miles) that begins and ends in a wash. It offers a little bit of something for everybody. Many of the obstacles can be taken with varying degrees of difficulty, and a couple can be bypassed. As is the case with many AZ trails, it is best if accompanied by someone who has ran the trail before. There are a few spots were a good spotter will be appreciated. The are several bedrock "cracks" to negotiate, as well as a few rock ledges, varying sized boulders, etc.

Remember to bring your camera and Water.

Enjoy and remember to TREAD Lightly!

"I'm taking my toys and going home." Would have been a more direct
way of getting your point across.

And I say to you:

Good, take your toys and your close minded "I won't even talk to the
enemy" and leave the cleanups to the adults. Your attitude will
only serve to hurt the sport in the end.

Grow Up a Little,

With everything I've read over the past few days regarding the "Plight of.......," getting exposure, etc., I think it would be ridiculous not to take these folks along on the cleanup. A friend or a little positive input in the enemies camp can be "priceless" and if they turn negative, the group would be no further in the hole than when this whole conversation started.
Demanding rights is very seldom productive. I push you, you push back a little harder and it escalates from there. Better to at least try to show not all off-roaders are "beer guzzling, knuckle dragging wrench turning bone heads."

2 cents worth from the new guy in Tucson.

Actually, you got a qustion. Chances are, your bushings are getting dry or are too tight. Grease them up good for a couple of reasons. One, helps keeps from drying out, Two, get rid of the squeaky noise, which can drive ya nucking futs. and, if they are that tight and dry, it will also help to smooth your ride out which can be a real nice perk. Andmake sure you dont crank the shackle bolts back on too tight.. too much and you can actually stiffen the ride quality...
