If I was single I'd be getting a brand new 609 front axle fully loaded with the monster hybrid 60 knuckles and an ARB. A hydro bender. A monster sized Miller TIG. And all the steel, gears, ARB, etc to start my stretch.... and maybe throw some tires/wheels in there while I'm at it. The rest would pay off some debt.

Since I'm married, probably nothing. :(

Puttin the budget lift on, swaybar disconnects, new intake system, chromolly axles, and the little hula girl that sits on the dashboard and dances as I drive. Except I am not at the point where I know if I am getting anything back yet. Better get a throttle body spacer in that case as well. Yes, that is what I will do!

My wife dumped me about five years ago so I don't have to worry about getting important stuff like jewelry.

If you have the turdy five we may need to organize a public stoning in your honor for considering a locker in it. ...and Allen, if you come across this thread....no one asked you. :wings:

Roger "Lowtech" Krause used to stand by his D35. He was just too stubborn and ornery to change it, just because he had to prove everyone wrong.

He had an XJ. Did he have one of the years when the d35 was not a c-clip?

No, it was a c-clip, with a Super 35 kit and an ARB with 4.56s in it. He did break an axle, on Roger's Crack on Martinez Canyon. Hence the obstacles name, and in remembrance of our fallen friend.

Bringing back an old thread.
Well I am using my return for a 350 swap, sm465, fullsize dana 44 and a 14 bolt. I am also streatching the wheelbase ,37" tires, fuel cell, aluminum radiator, hi steer, lockers, XJ leafs. I planned on 4 linking one end but I will wait for that since the above parts will use most of the return up. and yes I did get a good return:fashizzle:

I wish, it was closer to $6000. But its enough to get alot of the parts I have been stowing away, together and bolted to the jeep. I cant believe my wife thought it was a good idea to spend the money on the jeep. She looks at the jeep as being a good way for the family to spend time together so again:fashizzle:

It's funny you should say that. Taking a look at my bookmarks yields a link I saved last week (http://www.maxxis.com/products/automotive/product_detail.asp?id=329). However, the talk about Maxxis no longer offering these to the public (I believe Sean originally brought this up and the conversation continued on the Undertakers) is making me a bit nervous. My plan is to turn the rig into a trailer queen so tire wear won't be an issue.

For the long arm I'm going to stretch it anyway so I'll wait to do that. I probably won't go with a kit though...

Yeah, really sucks. I need to get down and see Charlie's brother in hopes that I can sneak in an order before they discontinue them. Since I frequently drive the Jeep on the street I'll probably keep the MTR's for street driving and lower rated trails that I want more of a challenge. I say this now but I'll probably end up getting too lazy to change the tires and leave the jeep in the garage with the stickies and eventually not drive it on the street.

Uhh.....Mike....the Comp Creepies are only available in a 40-13.50-17. Did you not tell me something......like D60s and a stretch is in the works? The Comp Treps come in a 37-12.50-17.

Yep, that's why I was going to go with the Comp Treps (I may have accidently said creepies) in the 37" size. I have one of my d60's already and will toss it in within the next couple of months... and am planning on a 609 for the front eventually. When I put the d60 in I'll either set it at 100" or 104" depending on how the mood moves me at the time. :aagh: I'm planning on trying to stick with 37's and minimal lift to keep the COG low. So far I've been able to run 35's on 3.5" of lift... and with some more cutting (in the back with the stretch) I should be able to run 37's. I haven't ruled out 4.5" though so we'll see.

I'm getting 650 back. I don't make enough to get 6-15 thousand like you guys. Only reason I'm getting anything back is because of my payments on almost a half million dollars worth of home... Sometimes being house poor has a plus side!

That being said... Probably no jeep toys for me, but I might actually pay my bills on time.
