Very Nice. I've been to most of those at least once in the past couple of months. Some I hadn't.

Thanks.

Lots of information on various aspects of mobile operations. A lot of it is geared toward HF but can still apply to other bands.

There's an APRS thread that mbuckner started (http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/showthread.php?t=30562), I gave a short blurb on what it is and posted a link to a wiki. It's something I'd really like to get set up sometime in the next couple of months. You can use any 2mtr radio that you can connect to a TNC (terminal node controller - basically a modem for your radio). If you have Google Earth there are several kml/kmz files you can download to get the data overlayed on GE, one I just downloaded this weekend is at OpenAPRS.net (http://www.openaprs.net/). Scroll down and on the left side there is a link to download the file, or scroll all the way down and there is a box with several different overlays of interest to hams.
