You guys won't believe this....
I was raving last week about scoring 4 33x12.5 R17 BFG M/T KM tires for $660. This was the guy that bought a set for his son for X-Mas and also a set for himself and then needed to raise some cash after spending too much on X-Mas.
When I picked them up from the guy, I told him to let me know if his son decided he didn't want his. I was just kidding with him.
Then I get this email from him this week saying: "Remember me? I'm the guy that likes to spend a ton of cash on tires and then lets them go at a loss."
Well....he says his son changed his mind on wanting the tires so he will sale me his set of 4 for $600. :party:
I was going to have to spend ~$250 after tax for a 5th tire as a spare, so I figure WTH...now I'll have two sets for the price of one, which gives me 4 spares.:fashizzle:
That freecycling must've worked cause the Jeep Gods have saved me from the depths of street rubber hell.
