I mounted one tire to my new wheel to see how it fit and looked

Those are some BIG tires. Since you're doing the SOA and 1-ton swap, are you planning on stretching any?

All my money goes into my work tools. all MAtco tools.

I remember when you first got on the forum up here with 4" lift and 32's...how things change!

I look forward to seeing that brown beast built up!

I think you should go chevy drivetrain for sure with that thing. Imagine a sm420/350 combo...or if you have come around to slushboxes a th350/350 combo!

Well, just take lots of pics man.

P.S. You should host a few wrenching parties to teach a few of us how to do this type of Jeep surgery. I know I would like to come watch/help at some point during this build.

right now I am just gathering all the parts I need.

assembly will start in a month or so.

and it wont be brown any longer. after the build I am sanding it down, and painting it black.

Be careful with that HF stuff, it can bite ya when least expected.... :eek:


Looks like it will be a wicked trail rig when it is finished.... Don't bother sanding it down, just pressure wash and undercoat the whole thing..... :D
