The Volvo T5R was only manufactured in 1 model year, and came in 2 colors (black and pale yellow).
This is Volvo's motorsport edition vehicle that features a high boost turbo (12 psi) and a 245 hp 5 cylinder engine. This one really picks up and goes!
What this does need (my evaluation) is to pull the head and reseal it. It smokes terribly (you can hide an army behind the cloud). Many have theorized other things but I've troubleshot it to my satisfaction (compression okay, leakdown okay, PVC system cleared by dealer). The Turbo was replaced 6 months prior to it smoking. One person mentioned the Cat being clogged and blowing the new turbo.
In all cases, I've tired of bringing vehicles back from the grave, so I want this out of there. It's sitting at over 200K.
Good pictures on Craigslist. $2300 and this is a sweet car. It starts, runs and drives. Currently unlicensed and been sitting in my garage for about a year.
