So my TJ was stolen last week. Assuming it won't be found I need to replace it. It was my fun toy but then became my sons college car. My new fun toy is the 1990 XJ I picked up and did a build on. (Son now has that at college). So I need to replace the TJ with what insurance bucks I get. Something semi decent on gas, reliable, yet a nice ride. I'm thinking perhaps a 2000 ish or newer XJ. I can pay cash for that with the TJ bucks. Keep it stock for now as a decent DD. I also considered a Yota pickup with extended cab.

What would you consider in the 10 to 15K range?

I know someone who's selling an 03 TJ with a 3" lift and 33s....stock other than that. I think it has about 40K miles...and you could probably get it for 13K. Let me know if you want his number.

I know some one with an Unlimited Ruby for sale. Less then 1k on it!! But it is a 6spd, and the price is in the 20's.

Can't do that price. I'll probably have around $15 or 16 K to use. Though as it now is a driver for my son I may go more economical and not fund the thiefs around ASU again.

Look up hickey jeep ouot on Main & Power(just west of, on south side.) I just passed by there the other day and his lot is nothing but used wranglers and cherokees... Other than that, I don't know much about him.

I live right up the road from hickey's so I pass it daily. I stoped by one day and their prices are crazy high. they wanted 20000 for their silver jeep with a long arm and 35's. I would not buy from there.
