Rear Dana 60 that's been narrowed to fit Jeeps. I wish I had the money for this, as it's almost done. It has disc brakes already, all bracketry removed, and has 35 spline axles in it. All it needs is ring and pinion of choice, a locker of choice, and either spring perches or TJ bracketry welded on. He only wants $500 for it. This is a REALLY nice setup. It's not a greasy grimey axle, straight out of the junkyard. It's clean.

PM me and I'll get you in touch with him.

Before somebody asks- What is the width?

Whatever TJ width is. It's been custom narrowed to TJ width.

What is the TJ WMS?

What is the TJ WMS?

Not sure... I could have sworn there were a million threads on this very subject. All I can find is that a Ford 8.8 is about 1.25" wider than a TJ...

Duh... I looked a little harder, TJ is 60.75"...

Any pics? 5X4.5 wheel pattern I'll assume?

Any pics? 5X4.5 wheel pattern I'll assume? The axles have the dual lug pattern holes (5 on 4.5 and 5 on 5.5) I don't have any pics, but I can tell you that the disc brake setup looks to be BRAND NEW and is probably worth a good portion of the $500 he's asking all by itself... I'll see if I can get some pics from him.

If this is cut down fo TJ length, which side was cut? Does he have the exact measurements so that spares can be obtained?

Were you able to get some pictures?

Spares???:aagh::aagh::aagh::aagh:

You dont buy a 60 with 35 spline axles and worry about spares. That is the point of buying 60.

I'd be really interested if I could as much info as possible. Pics, etc. Why's he selling?

He's moving and doesn't own a Jeep anymore and doesn't want to lug it with him... I think he was building it for someone and they flaked... Not sure.

I'll PM you his Phone#s...

Sorry, already made arrangements to drive up there and pick it up on Sunday. :( ...so consider the axle sold. It was a spur of the moment purchase (I was actually looking for a front) but I couldn't pass up such a good deal. :)

Sucks cause I don't have many other options besides just fixing my AMC 20 do to limited funds.

It must have been a "GREEN" axle:drummer:
