I will keep an eye out...
Is there a way to call LE agencies to report it stolen so they can look out for it? Like a stolen database PD uses? If so I would call the out lying cities first... Or better yet call down to Tucson and DPS...
I missed the kill-switch shop myself... Now I need to do it pronto. Thought about Lo-Jack too...
Again, sorry to hear about this Jason... :(

relax, dont misinterpret my creative choice in adjectives as lshing out at anyone i was just adding emphasis on the obvious
and yeah, is been reported to asu pd which id part of phx pd and i called back and they have it in the national database. it was fully insured but even then, they still try to get out of any after amrket crap you have on it. plus, most if not all was done here at home by myself.

I copied over your post from the Snow Run so people can see what your jeep looks like.
Due to the time stamp, it is the very first post in this thread.
I'll keep my eye out for it

Really?! If I tried to do the kill-switch by looking at the pictures I would end up wiring the switch in a loop to the blinker... Then everytime I turn my jeep would start, then stop, then start, stop...start...stop...:laugh2:

Sorry for this.... Hope you get it back quickly and unharmed...
Just another reason to strongly dislike Maricopa County.... When my then girlfriend was going to school we lived just west of ASU West, broken into and stolen cars were the norm both at the school and surrounding apartments...
I hope someone get's them for ya.... :2guns: But with all the garbage the LEO's have to deal with today, all you can hope for is a quick recovery...
Guess I am gonna have to kill switch the new TJ, seems like they are a pretty common "mark" and easy to steal...
terron gregg

someone tried stealing my tj took a drill to the ignition and tried drilling it out had to drive it like that for a day it cost me $137to get the new tumbler made i guess its better thannot having my junk though

Sheesh I am sorry, keep the pictures of it, and any recent pics you have of it with any of the mods, come up with a list of them for worst case scenario to show to the insurance company, i hope they find it and the people who stole it!!!!
I'll keep my eyes out on the west side as well

I work out in Queen Creek and I will definately keep an eye out. Nothing is safe anymore. When I went to ASU I heard about nothing but problems with vehicles being broken into and stolen. I'm sure the ASU PD does as much as they can but makes you wonder huh? Sorry man.

I can't make no promises though to the condition of the person(s) that are in it if I see it.... :nuke::nopity:

I so hated that "we've located your vehicle...burned to the ground (and stripped) on the west side" after my truck was stolen.
since then I've been a nut to ensure that my junk doesn't meet the same fate.
best of luck... will keep eyes peeled.

I actually saw this Jeep leaving my complex on 35th and T-Bird around 5pm, plate and all. Went south on the 17 (or at least the access road) as I was going north.
Too bad I didn't see this earlier....

I'll keep a look out. It sucks that we have to pay so much for parking (and west is dirt cheap compared to even the cheapest at main) and crap like this still happens. Was it parked in the lot on Thunderbird or the lot behind the school. I wish they would take some of those meter maids that like giving out tickets so much and make them watch the parking lots.

The've been breaking into cars on a daily basis for the past two weeks at the tempe campus. Apparently, the've been hitting all of the lots early in the morning. I haven't heard of any vehicles disappearing, but there have been multiple smash 'n grabs.

Smash and grabs at the high schools as well. My sons truck had the side window smashed for nothing but glasses at Horizon High School along with 7 others.

I'm looking for your rig Jason! Driving Glendale/west Phx. all day with my eye-balls
If I see it, you will be the second call.
BTW; I could bet this POS that ripped you off frequents the area.
If only I had 5 minutes with a theif! Especially the one who cut a hole in the wall of my workshop and took 4g's worth of tools!
I cant stand the low-life, scum-bag thiefs!

when I first saw my truck after it was recovered, it was difficult to tell it was mine. I'd hoped to buy it back and re-use the new powertrain that'd been installed, but the severity of the blaze made everything (look) unsalvagable. I even said goodbye to the locker I'd installed in the rear diff out of sheer depression. It made no sense that they'd torched the whole thing for just the tires and wheels.. grrrrr.
the insurance, of course, paid nothing for all the extras and labor I'd put into it, finding a 'similar model' in the truck trader for reference. And no, my truck was stolen from Scottsdale, and found in West Phoenix.
don't mean to hijack the thread.
I hope a similar fate does NOT happen to you and yours.

I am new to this site and the reason I joined up was because my Jeep YJ was stolen and recovered. I needed a place to gain knowledge from others on how to do some repairs I would have never tried to tackle. My Jeep was found several days after it was reported stolen by some dirt bikers. Jeep was at Sycamore creek, at the bottom of "Widowmaker Hill". I have never been their, but plan to visit this place once I piece my Jeep back together. The Jeep took a beating. This story explains how I choose my name....AZ HOT SHEET. P.S. My first post! I wish you the best.
