So as some of you know I had my TJ in the shop for about 2 months for a tranny issue. I have finally gotten it back from the dealer up here and while the Jeep works it makes some funnny swirling noises in the transmission in a few of the gears. I had planned on having Earnhardts fix it since I bought it there and they agreed to fix the problem.
I have decided to see if any other dealer up here will fix it first. I just dont want it in Phx while I am up here.
I guess there isnt much to this story other than the dealer f'd up on the rebuild and my Jeep isnt perfect.
I will say it drives like new again, I REALLY love it. I realize now that I can't sell it for its faults...it is truly my dream car. I just need to get these bugs worked out.
I have put 1,000 miles on it since I got it back and it hasnt gotten worse or broken, but I expect more from the "pros"
Just thought some of you might want to know.
P.S. Boycott Diamond Dodge, I am also reporting them to about half a dozen different agencies.

GOOD! You need more than a stockish CJ for your wheeling...I wont be on 1-tons for at least 5 years, but I dot need them. I cant wait till you get it built, I will totally pay your gas to go ride in it on a 4.5+ trail when that happens.
You are going to need a cage my then though! You need one before I will go on an extreme ride in it. Call me paranoid but CJ's all need modern seat belts and cages IMO.

I was wondering where you had been, but now I see you just have been driving your rig around! :)

I don't think any of the same guys are working there anymore. They had a couple techs leave, their part guy, and I'm pretty sure 1 of their advisors too. I went to go get parts their for my shop and they tried ripping ME off, so be careful.

:fashizzle: I think they will all just say, "join the club". :laugh2: I know another Dodge dealer in the northern region won't even deal with them, and from what they have said neither will any of the Dodge dealers.
