On The Rocks TV" set to debut on The Outdoor Channel on Monday, January 7th, 2008.

Off-Road enthusiasts will love this new off-road adventure television program. Designed with something for everyone, "On The Rocks TV", with host David Ihrig and world famous off-road expert Rick Russell, introduces the viewer to the "Dirty Thirty", a group of real characters with their bizarre rigs as they explore the back roads and trails of America.

Be sure to tune in to the Outdoor Channel on Monday, January 7th for the premiere episode. Each episode airs three times for your viewing convenience: 6:30pm and 9:30pm EST Monday and 1:30am EST Tuesday, or 3:30pm, 6:30pm and 10:30pm PST Monday.

Well let's get them out here to Arizona for some trail runs and help them make it a better show.

At least it is a start, getting some sort of show is better then nothing. Hopefully they will make some focus on responsible OHV and the positive side of OHV users trying to keep it clean and doing the hard labor when needed.

I agree with Chris, it's a start. I just watched the first show, it was a little hokey, but most TV shows are in my opinion. They did give a "Tread Lightly" disclaimer for the mud hole on private property.
I think they are trying to portray "Jeepers" as fun loving, easy going folks, instead of the "monster truck" ego maniacs. From our perspective, anything that is produced for the public will look a little "fluffy". They will probably get slammed from both extremes, so if we were to show some support, we might get some good press from a show like this.

I think that you are right that was a boring, I don't think that the guy doing the narrating is any good at all I mute the TV when he starts talking.

I was looking threw one of the 4wd trail books when i was sittin at desert fab and there is a picture of a heep going up a little ledge and a guy stacking a rock and in the caption it says stretigic rock placement is a critial part in rock crawling :D

First show I have seen, missed the first two. Very good points, winch safety and a local Toyota from Chandler. I seen no rock stacking and it was a very well done show featuring regular people doing what we love...Rocks

Yeah, on the rocks was much better than previous episodes, i liked the walk through in rusty nail and trail repairs. That cj6 was SICK!!!

that last, Moab episode made me think they got rid of him, then he showed up at the end

I am playing sick today, Thought I could be heman and work 11hrs a day for 2 weeks straight!!

I am lounging and caught the new 4 wheelparts show and on the rocks. I was hoping for another walk through on hells revenge and good to during ejs that grandpas garage is open to any wheeler that can make his or her own repairs!
