i've wheeled some of syk, rolls and B.J.s on the east side. i want to see new trails, but the better ones you need a permit to wheel. i know it has been asked before, but got a lot of deferent answers. i would like to get the names of the deferent offices like for the F.J. area and T.M. area and the deferent BLM. when i looked last time 2 or 3 deferent offices for the same spot poped up. i don,t want that. just 5 or 6 offices that cover most of arizona.
THX 2 all that help.

The BLM offices won't tell you where the good trails are, they will only sell you a map for the said area (and alot of trails cross over into national forest or start in national forest so they won't be on some of the BLM maps).
Just post up in the trails forum where you would like to go, what your experience level is, and when you want to go....
Usually someone will post up rather quickly and will show you where the trails are and lead the run for you. They will also (I would if I was the leader) make sure you don't get lost and help if you get broken down or provide assistance if you get stuck... If it's a harder trail they will be showing you the desired line (hopefully) over the obstacles.
Another good place to start is the infamous Charles A. Wells book on AZ Backcountry, Trips and Trails available at all major book stores and Four Wheel Drive shops near you...
Happy New Year...
