I believe you can. I'm at work right now or I'd run out and look at mine to confirm.

Yes it will be fine.. But... if you don't have an SYE your going to have vibes..

I was just wondering about this the past couple of days, funny it should get brought up. Anyway, not to hijack the thread, but I had a couple more questions about this.

Seeing as how Nth Degree and Jeep Medic are no more I was thinking about doing what Terron wanted to do. Does anyone think this would be a viable option for a tummy tuck style skid with a SA suspension or is there another manufacturer that makes a similar product to the tummy tuck that would work better? My stock T-case skid and drop kit are driving me up the wall, I need an SYE and a better skid as soon as I have the fundage and am looking for ideas.

Sounds like a great idea to me. You'll get a super tough flat belly pan and will be ready to bolt in long arms when/if you decide to upgrade. Otherwise you'll find another skid for a little less money, use it for awhile, and then buy the RE long arm kit... Do the RE belly pan now and save the headache.

Perfect solution.. We have done quite a few rigs this route.. RK belly skid is also a viable option.. Both only hang down about an inch compared to the stock shovle..

Plus, when your ready to upgrade to LA's it's a bolt on process..

Here's a prime example.. We did this a few weeks ago.. The Jeep is back for LA's!

Thanks Tom, that's exactly what I was thinking. I just wanted to verify that it would work well as a low profile skid. Sounds like it will fit the bill!

Thanks for the pic Dave. I'm sure I'm going to want the LA's someday, might as well not waste my money on a skid that only fit's SA's.

For sure, I've got a list and almost every sponsor on here will have some of my business. Can't wait 'til tax season....

Of course, if you decide not to go long arm or different brand, you got this skid hanging down an inch plus.

You can often pick up used TT's and/or sell yours if you go to long arms.

If it was me, I'd want to be pretty sure I was going to use a particular LA setup before installing the skid and running it with short arms. To each their own I guess though..............

That's the million dollar question right now. I've got some time so I'm going to do quite a bit of research before I decide for sure, just tossing ideas around. And believe me, if I find a used tummy tuck right now I'd be all over it but I'm sure they're going to be treated like gold now that you can't get them.

AEV will be releasing the new stuff soon.. We are told only slight changes will be made to most of the Nth line that they picked up.. So your chances of getting the true Nth TT will most likely be better come tax return time.
