Hey Bob,
Toshiba is selling this. I am only passing along the information.
They had a show here demoing new products and they always sell off
the models after the show so they don't have to ship them. I wanted
it but the wife was not as excited as me:)

Subject: Need an adjustable track bar, or advice on one
Hi all,
Man, what a long day. First a guy in a toyota got stuck sideways on
the big hill at FR42. We finally managed to get him out of that
sticky situation, but not before he completely fried his clutch. So
I ended up towing him all the way out to the highway. Then, as I
started the trip home, I noticed that I had a really bad case of
Death Wobble. Checked out the TRE on the Track Bar and it's moving
around all over the place. Great, just what I need. My normal hour
drive home just became almost double that because I can't go over 40
mph. Did I mention that today sucked?? Anyway, I need an adjustable
Track Bar for my 99 TJ with a 4" lift. Does anybody have a Track Bar
that they recommend? RE, Tera, Currie?

Want to do the Schnebly Hill Road trip to get out of the Valley. Could do Broken Arrow or a run to Prescott after.
Popular route linking I-17 and Sedona. Best if you travel east to west. The road is about 11 miles long and takes about 1 hr to drive. Lots of scenic views! Broken Arrow is a good one to follow up with.

Subject: RE trackbar noise
I have the standard Rubicon Express front adjustable trackbar RE1600. I have been having a creeking noise coming from the front end for 2 weeks and finally tracked it down to the trackbar. I removed the lower end from the axle and the noise was gone. The track bar is only 3 months old..........so I figured the mounting bolt may be loose. I hit it hard with my impact gun and it didn't move. I pulled down on the bar and the creek noise was still there between my hand (axle end) and the frame. I removed the frame mount with the trackbar still attached and put it in my vise. Once again I hit the nut with my impact to verify its tightness.....then I pulled on the trackbar and there is still a creeking noise. I searched the entire bracket looking for some broken metal to melt to no avail. I again pulled on the bar with my ear on it and it sounds as if the noise is inside the trackbar. Does anyone know if anyone has every had the threaded end come loose inside the bar itself? This is what I am suspecting has happened. Any info anyone can provide will be appreciated.
PS: While I have the bracket off I'm going to heavy duty-ize it with molten metal.
Thanks,
Mike

Hey Bob,
Toshiba is selling this.

Thanks

When: 07:30AM
Where: North East corner of the Cavecreek and I17 Intersection
Rating: 2.0
Length: About 3 hours.
CB Channel: 4

Thanks,
Mike
