I saw it once in the parking lot of 4WS and one night before a run on Woodpecker (I think)..

Any of you guys know the specs of this sweet Jeep? I remember it had a big engine and 5x5.5" bolt pattern with 42s. Im kicking arround the idea of a 500cc powered CJ2, and this looks a lot like what Id like to do.

Any help will be appreciated!

Roger....I am happy to report that when I passed over the ledge, it was
timber free!

I just hope no one after me suffered a breakdown and had to resort to the
use of "timber"! LOL

I remember Dennis Webster of the Phoenix 4wheelers used to have a jeep like that. But that was ages ago. I'm not even sure he is still around. Back 10 years ago it had a buick 225.

Subject: Rick Beer rebuild fund

Hello all,

I've not yet gotten to BofA to open the acct, but my PayPal acct online
sure is growing. So far we have over $110.00 donated by generous, caring
individuals.

I figure if the club can organize to help an entire community that it
doesn't even know (fire run), we SHOULD be able to collect enough to help
one of our own get back on the trail. Skip that extra 12 pack this
weekend and donate to help Rick out of this mess.

Any vendors who care to contribute to this project, NOW is the time to
speak up!

I was wondering if anyone in the club was interested in a Dana 60 rear end.
I saw like 6 in the Junk yard this morning, most of them in the back of 1
ton vans but 1 was in the back of a 1 ton truck and it looked fully
assembled. Upon my limited inspection I doubt they have any traction devices
and gears are whatever was in them, Drum Breaks, but they appeared to be
full floaters although they are always locked.

Anyway the junkyard was U-Pull it down on Broadway by all the junkyards down
there, I think the yard lets these things go for less than $500 but am not
positive. I just picked up a Dana 44 front end and a Dana 300 on Friday for
$400.

Anyway just a heads up for Part hunters.

if you are looking for something else ask, I have a good idea of what the
yard has if you know of something your looking for that I didn't list. (my
dad and I were there for like 12 hours over the past week)

Has anybody considered doing a carwash??
Those typically raise pretty good money.
I understand that this cannot be done to benefit on
person, but we could also do some kind of a cleanup.
That would make a carwash pretty legal wouldnt it??
Anyways I would love to do something like that. If
anybody else is interested then please let me know.

Here is my thoughts on it....

How bout a Jeep show, selling raffle tickets to the public (and us)
for prizes donated by vendors? It would be a good chance to get the
gang together, and have some fun.

Joeys right. This would be great. You can make it day and/or night
runs(for those who stay out late). Not to mention a BBQ before the
night runs. We could meet like back at the cabins or somewhere else,
whatever.
