Randy,

Are you sure about the thrust washers? My front Dana 30 in my CJ7 had
thrust washers. I made the mistake of NOT replacing mine. They were
worn, and that caused there to be slightly too much spacing between the
teeth of the locker. The teeth would constantly slip when they should
be locked. This caused some of the teeth on the lock-right to be
chipped, but after replacing the thrust washers the problem went away
and the locker still performs flawlessly.

Bob, at about $1 apiece, DEFINITELY replace the thrust washers!! I also
agree with what Randy said about breaking axles. I've broken 1 axle and
2 U-joints, and all have been while trying to make a tight turn on
slickrock. I should have bought that twin stick adapter long ago...

Your talk about the thrush washers behind the axel drive gear! I forgot
about those. It has been a long time since I used a lunch box locker. I have
always re-used the old ones with no issues.

These puppies are not up for sale yet as they are still weening, but
will be going up soon 1 week. I am just wandering if
anybody in the club would like a first chance of getting one or two.
I don't know much about the puppies as they are my mothers, but they
are very cute. There are 5 Golden and 3 Black Labs for sale, all
puppies are Pure Bread and Papered, AKC Registered both Male and
Female on site, do not know how many of each.
The asking price has been dropped to $300.00. My parents bought a
house and they need to sell the dogs.

If you are interested Call my mom or dad
Contacts:
Audie Kirkpatrick: Cell# 520-870-2797 (My Dad)
Robin Kirkpatrick: Cell# 520-982-2797 (My Momma)

I do think that they will reserve puppies for those interested.

The puppies are located in Central Tucson Az.

better for the club and it's members. - Jose

I dont want to organize this, but put me down for the 10 bucks. I haven't meet Rick yet, but I've read lots of good things about him and that works for me. If we, as a club, can come together for our own, like you guys/gals did for others (I missed the Relief Run so I can't say "we"), all the better for the club and it's members. - Jose--- In az_vjc@y..., "Jon Loveless-DSL" wrote:

Yep, I routed my fuel line up over the fender, in front of the radiator,
over the other fender and then to the carburetor, but that STILL didn't
solve the problem. There was a metal gas line that ran within about 4
inches of the exhaust. It wasn't until I rerouted that section that my
problem went away...

Subject: Specs on this Jeep?

I saw it once in the parking lot of 4WS and one night before a run on Woodpecker (I think)..

Any of you guys know the specs of this sweet Jeep? I remember it had a big engine and 5x5.5" bolt pattern with 42s. Im kicking arround the idea of a 500cc powered CJ2, and this looks a lot like what Id like to do.

Any help will be appreciated!

Just wandering
Does anybody have any old diff covers laying around for a D30 or D35.
I would pay almost nothing for them?

The question is not
"If you pick your nose"
but
"Where you put the booger"
