I decided it was time for my old Ruger Mk1 to get an overhaul after all these years. Think of it as a "firearm tuck" for an aging pistol. :D

I couldn't see that stickin' little dot at 25 yards! :willy_nilly:
I do need to pay a visit to my eye doctor. It's been a few years since I was last there and I think I honestly may need glasses for distance. :(

It was 7 meters or 7 yards....not sure which as it just said "7" on the sideline marking....what ever Shooter's World uses for their measurements.

Are you sure it wasn't 7 feet? :D

Regardless of the distance, that's really great shooting with a handgun. Nice work!

Joe, if I told you once, I told you a thousand times....

That was the only string (of about 6 or 7 attempts) where I didn't have one or two that drifted out of the group....so naturally, I chose that one for the photo. My intent was to show that the Pac-Lite barrel/receiver really is a sweet shooting setup. I intend to address the sights in some fashion.
Edit: The other thing that was a PITA was the target holder moving on the cable system. It took quite some time for it to steady out. After initially positioning your target it moves more than enough to open your grouping to over an inch at that distance.

It was only 5 rounds, not 10. The magazine doesn't hold 10 rounds. :(

Standing....
I shot this one at Front Sight last month with my XD45. The pressure was a bit higher there.....had 38 other students and 3 instructors that I was trying to beat. (and I did!) :D

Thirty years ago back when I was in the Navy, I use to shoot a lot of bullseye on my unit's pistol team. Never got into any serious competitions.....but we had a great time with the match grade .45 and .22 handguns we were issued (along with ammo cans of cartridges).
