There aren't any. I have some trouble concealing my XD Service without wearing a sweatshirt over it. With that said, I like the Galco IWB holster that I use. I don't remember the model number, but I'll try to remember to get it for you tonight when I get home from work. I'd be willing to let you check it out in person if you wanted to meet somewhere.

Congrats on getting your CCW!

oh...and see the above links...Ive been CCW for 13-14 years now..T shirt and shorts...Ive been thru all kinds of garbage holsters and junk to conceal..the CTAC and a REAL GUN belt works.

I use a Bianchi (don't remember the model) gun belt and carry close to appendix style, but a little further back. I find that the XD Service has a longer grip which is hard to conceal with just a t-shirt. It's a bit easier with the Galco holster since it hangs deeper inside your belt than my equivalent Bianchi that I use with my Kimber Ultra CDP II. I have absolutely no issues with my Kimber, and it conceals really easy in spite of the fact that the Bianch holster that I'm using has it ride a bit higher than the Galco.

Just my observation. YMMV.

I'm going to check out both the galco and bianchi holsters today. I found some neat ones on the net, including yours AZG23, but I don't want to buy something that I cannot try on first.

I'm still amazed I sent in my application on Monday afternoon and got the permit 5 days later on Saturday.

haha. one into the ground is enough to make anyone stand on their toes.

I tried on about 6 holsters today. Fobus, Galco, Bianchi, etc.

Ended up with a $10 nylon in the waistband and with jeans and a tshirt it's basically invisible.

Never would have guessed.

I've found that drawing from a nylon holster is a hit or miss proposition (forgive the pun). They don't usually allow as smooth a draw as kydex or leather. Practice with it. If it works for you, run it.

I started drawing over and over already and it has been very nice. Much better for me than my P22 in its fobus holster or the XD from the holster that came with the gun.

Maybe I'm weird.

You're not wierd (well, I don't know that, but you know..) the reason these companies make different configurations is because different things work for different people.....

Remember, don't carry in Gov't places, places that sell alcohol for consumption or at any school.

And John... I'll remember that.

Next time I'm giving your Jeep a little nudge to the side... See how weird I am when your jeep is laying on its side.:skull:

I carry my XD40 subbie in this http://www.comp-tac.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=95&osCsid=7134514ac46dab51ece887b31111b2f7
I don't know it's there and nor does anyone else. Very quick and controlled draw and easy to reholster. I also have an extra shell that fits my XD45 compact. 2 quality holsters in 1 and all it takes is an allen wrench to change them out.

Its a really good class to take. I got it as a package deal when i bought my pistol from Guns Plus on Grand and Dysart... its a one day class from 7am to 3ish... takes about a week to get the permit after you send in the $60 Money order. not bad.

Congratulations!!!

Now... remember to make sure you RENEW it before it expires. I let mine expire (forgot to check the date on it) and I remember how unhappy I was at not being able to carry concealed for a few weeks while I went back to class and had mine reissued.

Enjoy your new CCW permit responsibly.
