Did anyone else have as much fun as me playing in the weather up there? It reminded me of the midwest-all cloudy and wet.
I liked the increased challenge of the slick stuff and any day that you get to pull a stuck Chevy out of the mud ism't all bad. :D

It reminded me of wheeling in Pennsylvania. Lots of hills, Grey skies and dead leaves on the ground. Freezing Rain and hills with mine shafts everywhere! Was glad to have been on the trip. It cured me of ever going on a large group outing!

Yeah 35 jeeps makes thing fairly slow. But hell I had a ton of fun!

I have done this run a couple of times before, it is definitely more fun and challenging when everything is wet and muddy! I had a good time as always. But one thing that amazed me is that out of 33 vehicles, I was the ONLY YJ! What is going on YJ owners?

Greg that is because most YJ's are on the 4.5 plus trails:D
Most YJ's are for one paid for which gives you more money for mods. Looked like the group had a great trip.

Hackle, I knew that response was coming, LOL! But there were like 5 or 6 YJ's signed up for the trip and none of them showed up:rolleyes:, Oh well, I still had fun. OH, BTW, I love the fact that my YJ is paid off!:D

I checked out the photos and didn't see any of the mine itself. I was up there for the first time yesterday (trail 25A) and the mine is facinating. I assume I was at the Sunflower Mine (there is an overturned, yellow dump truck that rolled down the hill into the mill area).

Good photos, by the way.
