Does having you car registered in another state affect trying to having it lemoned in AZ? My Jeep is registered in Oregon, I live here and it is fixed here. From the looks of its current condition I am going to try to fight to have it lemoned. The law states 4 repair attempts or 30 calendar days out of service, before 24k miles or 2 years which ever is 1st. I'm at 21k and 2 years will hit in Febuary.
If anyone wants to know I have had my 2005 Grand Cherokee in the shop (Moore Chrysler Jeep on Bell) for the same problem 4 times now. Today will make the 4th time. About every 3 weeks it has a dead battery and has to be towed. 2 times we have been able to jump it but the others had to be towed. Moore Chrysler has told me that there is a current drawl on the battery but they are unable to find what it is. They keep giving it back to me broke. I have had them keep it for a few days and let it sit. Of course it sits on thier lot and starts every time, it sits in front of my house for 12 hours and dies to the point that the door locks won't even work. If anyone has any advice please share. You would think something with a $42k sticker price would last.

Ok... did some digging around and found a few links that may help
you with what you need...

http://www.keytlaw.com/az/lemonlaw.htm

http://autopedia.com/html/LemonLaw/AZ_lemonlaw2.html

http://www.carlemon.com/lemon/AZ_law.html

You may want to look into a company that handles the Lemon
Law...

We filed with a company but dont remember the name of the
lawyer... it was years ago... wasnt with any of our jeeps it was
with the 2000 Chevy Blazer 4x4 that I have...

Good Luck!!!

Rox, would that be "Chirstine?"

Research it carefully, I didn't handle my issue with my duramax like I should have. I could have had it lemoned... Do it, protect yourself, don't listen to the crud the service manager will sling you...

I have been reading all types of different web sites. Most of them say the same thing. It looks like I will be calling around tomorrow. I'm sure the dealership will call saying they couldn't find anything and put a new battery in it and give it back.

Yep... that would be Christine..... I tried to get Chevy to take
her back but she was in an accident so they wouldnt... they did
however pay dearly for the Lemon Law :smug:

But... her name did not come from the Lemon Law... again,
thats another story :whistling:

Yes every state is different. In your owners manuals, there should be lemon law information detailed state by state.

I have spoken with a laywer and have sent over all the information. They said it takes about month to 2 months to have everything resolved.
I am on my way to pick up my Jeep again with no repair completed all they did was replace a dead battery that was replaced about 3 weeks ago. This will be the 3rd battery they have put in our Jeep in 4 months. I will keep you all updated.
