Roger,
You probably would want to call ahead if that is your main
destination, but it was just a secondary, exploratory jont for me.
The water level wasn't high enough to keep me from crossing (this was
second week in July), though you have to wade across first to map out
a path (about a couple feet deep) because there is a big hole if you
go straight across and you will sink (this is the first crossing). I
only did the first creek crossing (I did not have enough time to go
any farther) but it was a good enough sampling to make me put it on
my favorites list and I want to go back and do the whole trail
sometime.

Actually I have to put it in 4Low and give it a lot of gas to just get up
the little curb in my driveway. What a pain in the *** getting out of the
Jeep locking the hubs then maybe after about 15 minutes playing (oh baby)
with the 4-wheel drive shifter I finally get up the small driveway curb.
Good one Joey K.

Allan,
I suggest you hook up with someone to ride along on the
Raw Deal run this evening. The lower part of Raw Deal
is rated a 3.5. Since I know your Jeep, I wouldn't suggest
running it until you do a couple more mods. But it will help
you start guaging the meaning of trail ratings.
I may go on the run. If I do and I don't otherwise have a
passenger, you could ride with me.

Yes, you are right.
Also, I know everyone isn't donating multiple times. For only
$25/year, you as an individual can join ASA4WDC, be represented on
both a state and national level, and be as member of UFWDA. You can
join UFWDA as individual also if you want to. My point is you don't
need AZVJC to join to be represented in UFWDA. Or do you?
Also, what about the issues I brought up about delegates? The real
plus I see is if AZVJC joined as an association then AZ has 4
delegates to UFWDA.
Yes, again you a correct about organizing a run for the BRC.
Excellent idea! I'll keep that in mind.

This thread may not be the place to note this but I just recently removed my information from the profile section. IMO you should have to be a member to see the profile section, as it has address, phone numbers etc. However I was surprised to see that GOOGLE now has my profile searchable by my name. I can see why trips and reports should be available to guests, (although I think that to should be available to members only) but profiles can be personal.

I have the 3" body lift as well, dont forget to retighten everything one in

welding it). I didn't do the motor mount lift yet but will when funds come

Roger,
You probably would want to call ahead if that is your main
destination, but it was just a secondary, exploratory jont for me.

Allan,
I suggest you hook up with someone to ride along on the
Raw Deal run this evening.

Joe,
I put a one inch body lift and the one inch motor
mounts on my Jeep 01 TJ and have had only one
problem. Shifting the transfer case into low is
sometimes difficult. I know they make a new bracket to
resolve this problem I just haven't done it yet.
