Depends on your age, most women like to just lift certain parts of
the body, and cost is pretty high on those parts....:)

Seriously, if you do a body lift on your CJ, or any Jeep, try to keep
it at 1". Are you looking for more clearance for tires?

All Vehicles seem to do this. It is most noticeable in Jeeps a trucks as you
lift them. Most of the time you see them lean anywere from 1/2" to 3/4". My

Hey all,

I know that I do not post much, but it is tough to help others when
your own Jeep knowledge is limited. What the heck, I learn more as I
go along. I have a 2000 Tj and have noticed that the passenger side
sags quite a bit compared to the driver side. As I look around, I
have noticed that a large amount of Jeeps in general do too. Just
not to the extent my own is. My baby is not factory anymore so I am
wondering also if my suspension somehow could be affecting the sag.
I am running a RE Long Arm kit. I guess my question would be
something like, " Does or did your Jeep experience this type of
problem and what have you done to remedy it?" I though about the
adjustable coil spacers, but ONLY on the passenger seems odd.
Couldn't that change how my suspension is supposed to work? Any and
all input is greatly appreciated.

Don't forget a motor mount lift too. Not necessary but recommended. Specially for a TJ to get the oil pan up a bit more.

I have a hockey puck lift. And am now wanting to go to something a bit more solid. The pucks are squishing. I think Daystar makes a body lift that replaces the factory bushings. That is the one I have been looking at because my factory bushings are very old.

Nick,

Don't bother extending the stock ones. It is so easy to build a new set with heim joints and you get a bit of extra articulation. Shouldn't cost more than $50 to build and they are adjustable.

Is the rear swaybar really that necessary on a Wrangler? I took mine off my 98 Grand and can't even tell the difference on the road. Offroad I can tell because the rear flexes better.

Thanks JC.

It is a good point to remind ourselves about safety. We all work on our
rigs and other things like yard work (yeah I know it takes time away from
our Jeeps) but even then I wear safety classes when I mow and trim.

Everyone be safe.

Mike,

I'm running 5.5" coils and 37's. I run the Currie AR in the front and the rear sway with heims. I would never go back. The additional stability on the trail is hands down detter than running without. I have no fear of off camber obstacles like White Line with the Antirock. Does it limit my articulation? Well if it does I still outflexed all the other TJ's at the BBQ so I don't consider it a limitation.

Later,
